2. Personal Data Collected

The following personal data is collected through the contact form on our website:

Providing the information in the form is voluntary. However, a quote request cannot be submitted without completing the required fields.

IP address, browser information and security logs may be processed automatically solely for the purpose of ensuring system security and preventing misuse.

3. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Evaluating and responding to your quote request
• Contacting you within the scope of the aluminum extrusion supply process
• Reviewing technical specifications and project details
• Conducting the business relationship and establishing contractual processes

The legal basis for this processing is Article 5/2(c) of the KVKK, concerning circumstances "directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract," together with Article 5/2(f), concerning "the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject." Your personal data is processed to the extent necessary to contact you in connection with your request.

4. Data Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the statute-of-limitations and retention periods stipulated under applicable legislation.

Technical drawings, CAD files, specifications and other project documents are retained for a maximum of 3 years after completion of the project scope, and are securely destroyed once this period expires.

5. Data Transfers

Your personal data may be shared, to the extent technically necessary, with the email infrastructure and file storage service providers used in the course of service delivery (such as Google Workspace, Cloudflare and Resend). These transfers are carried out with the necessary safeguards under Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Your personal data is never transferred for third-party advertising, marketing or data trading purposes.

6. Data Security

RAU Metals implements appropriate technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss. Our website is secured with SSL/TLS encryption technology, and current security standards are applied to data transmission.

7. Data Subject Rights (KVKK Article 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• To request information if your personal data has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties, domestic or foreign, to whom your personal data is transferred
• To request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
• To request erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
